Description: The Latin name of Marigold is Calendula officinalis and its common names are also Pot Mariguld and Gold-bloom. Marigold is native to Egypt and Mediterranean and a common garden plant throughout the world.
Application: Marigold extract exhibits anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, stimulating production of white cells and strengthening the immune system. It is used internally for healing intestinal wounds and lip herpes.
